Execellence - Another gem from Steve Keefe

To be excellent, we must be ourselves and do the very best we can do.  In giving our best every day improvement will come naturally.  Giving our all makes us better... it is that simple.  There is a difference between excellence and perfection.  Excellence is personal best not perfection.

 

Another part of seeking and maintaining excellence is surrounding yourself with others who have high personal standards.  Sometimes when we are not at our best, someone else will be and that can help raise us to that level. 

 

It may be overwhelming to tell someone they have to be Michael Jordan, or Tiger Woods, or Earnest Hemingway, or Albert Einstein.  Most would say that is impossible.  Our goal should not to be our heroes, but to learn from them and do the best possible job of being ourselves and striving for personal best.
